Junior Auxiliary of Starkville is thrilled to announce we are officially hosting the Mahjong Winter Classic, a Mahjong Tournament benefitting the JA of Starkville. This event will be held on January 9, 2027 from 10AM to 2 PM at the Starkville Country Club! The event features 3 rounds of tournament play with 4 games in each round. Not feeling competitive and just want to play with your friends for a good cause? We also have open play seats available as well! We are excited to tell our story about why JA is so vital for our community while hosting a friendly competition!

Registration for the tournament opens November 1st, and space will be limited. We are looking for sponsors for our event, which comes with some really great perks! Tickets are $125 each and all proceeds from the tournament go directly to funding JA’s projects.

If you are interested in becoming a sponsor or donating items to our the silent auction for this event, you can find more information in our sponsorship packet, linked here! You can also reach out to Hallie Smith, Finance Chair, at 813-240-9699 if you are interested in sponsoring!
